2025 Facility Assessment Study
Background on the Project
Following the 2025 Facilities Improvement Bond Proposal, which was not approved by voters, MPS remains committed to responsibly planning for the future. To aid in that process, MPS will conduct a new comprehensive facility assessment to evaluate the condition and long-term needs of all district buildings and sites. The study will review each facility’s infrastructure, safety, accessibility, technology, and educational spaces to identify areas for improvement. Findings from the assessment will help the district prioritize maintenance and modernization needs, align facility planning with educational goals, and develop a roadmap for future investments in MPS. (Check out the video library below for the latest updates!)
This assessment will provide updated, data-driven information to help the district make informed decisions about facility needs and potential funding options. The process will ensure that future planning efforts are transparent, community-informed, and aligned with the district’s long-term educational goals.
